Cooking – Home on the Range | Ages: 5-12 – Register Online
Oh give me a home where the junior chefs roam and the taste of good cooking is near. Where often is heard an encouraging word as we make chow to eat with our peers. This class goes beyond the canvas to bring you original art using a variety of methods and materials. Kids will get a dose of art history and be inspired by works from artists past and present. Art – Color Explosion | Ages: 6 & Up – Register Online
This class is all about color, imagination and innovation. In the world we live in, creativity is one of the most important skills. This class is all about the process and being creative in a group setting. We work with several mediums of paint such as acrylic, watercolor and oil. We also study famous artist and inventors as well as important techniques. The class is concentrated on building self-confidence, curiosity and wisdom. Each class we work on a different colorful creation, sculpture or invention. Taught by Aneliya Chalakova of Seventh Green Circle.

Art for Environmental Change is visual arts class that focuses on design, fine art, environmental awareness and creative thinking. The club serves as a detailed introduction to the unparalleled possibilities for creating and manipulating shape and design elements while becoming a mindful creative adult. Green Kids Club provides development of critical thinking skills, technical proficiencies, and appreciation for both human and nature. Enduring idea: The relationship between people and nature is reciprocal. Key concepts: Nature impacts human endeavors. Fun Club | Ages: 3-5 – Register Online
Join us for part sensory/ part art-making experience, this class will provide first creative experiences for young toddlers. We will play with light, sound, smells, and sights and offer various developmentally appropriate activities to delight the senses, exploring color and texture. We recommend this class for ages 3-5 years old. Our academically experienced and caring staff provides a safe and enriching environment for your child as well as fun Old Town field trips. Children should bring a lunch to eat each week with their friends. Feel free to sign up for more than one class. Taught by Aneliya Chalakova of Seventh Green Circle. Children must be potty trained.

The Menomonee Club Fencing Team | Ages: 8-18 
The Menomonee Club Fencing Team provides a great introduction to fencing, along with a forum for more advanced training. The team classes are fun and educational with games, drills, and a lot of fencing! This program is designed to provide students with training and private lessons to prepare them for national-level competition. Taught by Tsanko Hantov and Windy City Fencing. Fencers must be approved by Coach Tsanko to join Fencing teams. Invitation Only.

Fencing Club | Ages: 6-Adult – Register Online
These classes provide a great introduction to fencing and a forum for more advanced training. We’ll make this class fun as well as educational. Taught by Tsanko Hantov and Windy City Fencing. Tsanko competed in the 2000 Olympic Games and won a Bronze medal at the 2001 World Cup (England) in the Modern Pentathlon. He was a National Senior Champion in 1998, a National Junior Champion in 1995, and 1996 men’s epee in Bulgaria. Tsanko has coached fencing for more than ten years, and has extensive experience training fencers at all levels. He has been the head coach at Windy City Fencing since 2005. He is a graduate of the National Sports Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Instructor approval is needed for all advanced classes. Visit www.windycityfencing.com.

Menomonee Judo Club | Ages: 4 and Up – Register Online
Learn the Japanese Olympic / Paralympic sport from our award-winning staff of certified Black Belts. Menomonee Judo has become one of the largest and most successful Judo clubs in the United States. The program has produced countless local, regional, national and international champions over the years. The Judo club is led by Sensei Brett Wolf, the 2013 United States Olympic Committee Paralympic Judo Coach of the Year. Brett has been with the Menomonee Club since 1993. Taekwondo | Ages: 3 & Up – Register Online
These action-packed classes feature the secret arts and awesome techniques of Taekwondo (a Korean Martial Art). It’s an Olympic sport utilizing exciting blocks, kicks, and punches. Taekwondo also develops self control and discipline and teaches techniques that can be used for both self-defense and competition. Students will be instructed by Grand Master Kidd, a licensed instructor by the US Taekwondo Union with over 35 years of teaching experience. Master Kidd is a WTF-Kukkiwon certified eighth degree black belt, and is the highest non-Korean martial artist in Illinois. In order to achieve maximum results it is recommended students attend class twice weekly.

The new governess, Maria, teaches the Von Trapp children the magic of singing and harmony against the wishes of their father, Captain Von Trapp. Students will work on character development and belt out some of your favorite show tunes in this musical theatre classic. From “My Favorite Things” to “So Long, Farewell,” this beloved show tells the tale of family, loyalty, and discovering joy in unlikely places. Little Hoopers Youth Basketball | Boys and Girls Ages: 3–5

3Point Athletics’ dedicated instructors will conduct weekly 45-minute clinics as an introduction to basketball and physical fitness for you and your children. Classes will be adult interactive as participants learn the fundamentals of the sport with an emphasis on dribbling and ball handling. Lil’ Kickers is a non-competitive, introductory soccer and movement skills program for boys and girls ages 18 months to 5 years. Shirley Ryan Ability Lab | Ages: 7–17, youth with physical disabilities

The Caring for Kids program provides year-round adaptive sports and recreation programs including two 4-week summer camps for youth ages 7–17 with physical disabilities. Caring for Kids also offers weekly judo in partnership with the Menomonee Judo Club on Saturdays.  The program also provides dance, yoga and karate classes at the Drucker Center through Yoga for the Special Child and Thousand Wave Martial Arts and Self-Defense Center.
