Grades: SK-6 This class covers it all-painting, drawing, sculpting, crafting and more. We will have do-it-yourself projects as well as learn new techniques to create original art of our own. We will get those creative juices flowing. Every week we will feature a different project. It's a great way to get exposure to many different art methods and mediums. Taught by Marisa Ievans. We will learn about important people through the ages - Picaso, Degas, Pollock, Warhol - just to name a few. We will paint and draw and be inspired to create masterpieces of our own! CRE-201 Tuesday 4:00-5:00 pm Grades: SK-6 Member/Non-Member: $145/$185 Location: Clubhouse Young Rembrandts Drawing Class - register online Ages: 3-5 This class develops your child's creativity as well as their fine motor skills through our fun and engaging Young Rembrandts drawing curriculum. With every class your child will learn how to draw new objects, develop new drawing skills and gain artistic confidence. Our proven teaching method brings out the artist in every child! Children develop their finger dexterity as they learn fun simple magic tricks. Using the proven Young Rembrandts teaching method, kids will learn to master more and more new drawing and cartooning techniques, such as creating expressions on faces or indicating motion, with every class. Fun Club - register online Grades: JK & SK Good old-fashioned fun abounds at FUN CLUB! Play time, story time, art projects, hands-on science, easy cooking, exploring Old Town, and fun field trips -what more could a child desire?! Our experienced and caring staff provides a safe and stimulating environment for your child. Children should bring a lunch to eat each week with their friend. Students learn a practical model for youth leadership that equips them with the skills necessary to be leaders in their schools and communities. Carefully selected initiatives challenge students to incorporate the theories presented, to employ study skills using a Leadership Journal, and to ultimately take ownership of their group and community, all while being engaged in fun discussions and activities. EE also provides academic tutoring in all subject areas; SSAT & ISEE prep workshops, and science and language enrichment courses.
