 		 Summer sessions: Introducing an exciting 6 week summer class schedule at The Menomonee Club's Drucker Center. The following summer session classes run June 23-Aug 1. Please note that Fencing Club is only 5 weeks long.



Soccer Class - register online
Grades: SK-6 (grade of child in Fall 2008)
Location: Drucker Center

Our experienced staff teaches boys and girls the ins and outs of soccer. Individual skill training is enhanced through sportsmanship and teamwork concepts. Each grade level is taught skills appropriate to its age. Shin guards recommended

Summer Dance Explosion - register online

Come dance with us in all kinds of new ways!

Have fun each week when you learn an exciting brand new dance from the great dancers of Thodos Dance Chicago. From jazzing it up on Broadway to Ballet, you can Hip-Hop one week and pirouette into the next. Each week is dedicated to learning a different and fun dance to show off at the end of the day. Age and skill appropriate groupings. Don’t miss it!

Learn the classic Japanese Olympic sport as we teach it with a modern twist. Our supportive staff will help you develop self-confidence, self-discipline, coordination, and agility. Taught by Sensei Brett Wolf.

Taekwondo - register online

Grades: SK-8 (grade of child in Fall 2008)
Location: Drucker Center

This action-packed class features the secret arts and awesome techniques of Taekwondo, a Korean martial art. An Olympic sport utilizing blocks, kicks, and punches, Taekwondo also develops control and self-discipline. Taught by Grand Master Kidd.

Chess Academy - register online

Grades: SK-8 (grade of child in Fall 2008)
Location: Drucker Center

Students will learn how to play or master their techniques by world-renowned chess coaches. Master cool openings, mid games (with all the pins), double attacks, endgames and other fun things…even a bughouse and a tournament! Taught by Chess Wizards experts.

Fencing Club 5-Week Program - register online

Please note that Fencing class only runs 5 weeks
June 14-August 2. There will be no classes
June 28-July 12.

This class will provide a great introduction to fencing and a forum for more advanced training. We’ll make this class fun as well as educational. Taught by Tsanko Hantov and Windy City Fencing. Tsanko Hantov competed in the 2000 Olympic Games and won a Bronze medal at the 2001 World Cup (England) in the Modern Pentathlon. Tsanko was a National Senior Champion in 1998 and a National Junior Champion in 1995 and 1996 men’s epee in Bulgaria. Tsanko has coached fencing for more than seven years, and has extensive experience training fencers at all levels. Tsanko has been the head coach at Windy City Fencing since 2005. He is a graduate of the National Sports Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria and is now the owner of Windy City Fencing, Inc.

The Menomonee Fencing Team - register online

This team will combine a great introduction to fencing as well as allow a forum for more advanced training. The team classes are fun and educational with games, drills and a lot of fencing! This program is designed to provide students with training programs and private lessons to prepare them for national-level competition. Taught by Tsanko Hantov and Windy City Fencing. Lil' Kickers Soccer For Kids

Lil’ Kickers is a non-competitive, introductory soccer and movement skills program for boys and girls ages 18 months to five years. In Lil’ Kickers we don’t just teach soccer to kids, but use soccer to teach kids about teamwork and cooperation. Lil’ Kickers is the ultimate child development program.
