Tsanko has coached fencing for more than seven years, and has extensive experience training fencers at all levels. Tsanko has been the head coach at Windy City Fencing since 2005. He is a graduate of the National Sports Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria and is now the owner of Windy City Fencing, Inc. Instructor approval is needed for all advanced classes. An Olympic sport utilizing exciting blocks, kicks, and punches, Taekwondo also develops control and self- discipline. Taekwondo teaches techniques that can be used for both self-defense and competition. Students will be instructed by Grand Master Kidd, who is a certified and licensed instructor by the United States Taekwondo Union and holds a sixth degree black belt (World Taekwondo Federation). Grand Master Kidd is the highest ranked non-Korean martial artist in Illinois, and has over 20 years teaching experience. It is recommended for students to take classes twice weekly, but it is not required.
