RetroActive Sports Camp with JB Schuck | Ages: 7-12 – Register Online
How much fun do you think your kids can have in one week? RetroActive Sports introduces its “Games Galore” week-long summer day camp. Our goal is to bring back classic games that have somehow disappeared from contemporary playgrounds. Sports and games that used to be played in every neighborhood are now a distant memory. Each day we reintroduce a different set of games such as dodgeball, newcomb, punchball, sputnik, flickerball, capture the flag, team handball, ga-ga, whiffle-ball, bonzo, kickball, spud, thunderball, and many more. When your kids walk into our camp, they’ll know it’s something different. Our kids don’t train, drill, and practice – we play games. We run, jump, kick, throw, and laugh non-stop. Don’t just sign up for another camp – treat your kids to retroactive fun! Please bring a nut-free bag lunch.

Revolution Taekwondo | Ages: 6-14   Register Online

Taekwondo at The Menomonee Club is an excellent introduction to the art of Taekwondo. New Students will establish a solid foundation in Taekwondo basics, and more experienced practitioners will improve on their already acquired skills.  While having fun, all children will build strength, confidence, focus, and discipline. The camp will focus on fundamental Taekwondo (basics, kicks, blocks, strikes, board breaking, forms, and sparring)!

Camp offered by our existing program provider Revolution TaeKwonDo and is led by our head master/coach Krasimir Rusev V Dan Black Belt.

Fencing camps are taught by Tsanko Hantov of Windy City Fencing. Tsanko has coached fencing for more than 10 years, and has extensive experience training fencers at all levels. Summer Art Explorers | Grades: Ages 4-12 – Register Online
This Art Camp is for artists who have a sense of adventure, and like to try new things. We will explore various art materials in the clubhouse, as well as materials that we can find in our environment. We will be painting, drawing, sculpting, and designing fabulous artwork and exploring our Menomonee Club neighborhood. Making art outdoors is great for kids to foster a love of nature while enjoying plenty of art time fun in the process!  Join us for adventures that will make you wish summer would never end. Taught by Aneliya Chalakova of Seventh Green Circle. Art campers will need to bring a nut-free lunch every day.

Chess Wizards | Ages: 6-14 – Register Online
Kids will learn how to play chess and master their technique. Students will be taught by world-renowned chess coaches. They will learn very cool openings, midgames (with all the pins), double attacks, endgames, and other fun things in chess…even bug house and a camp tournament! All campers will receive a chess board, a set of chess pieces, Chess Wizards T-shirt, scoreboard, trophy, camp photo, work folder, and certificate of achievement. Taught by Chess Wizards experts.

Mindful Chefs – Register Online

This half day creative and healthy cooking class will discover the little chef and teach your child to have fun with all foods. During the camp, we will introduce your child to a variety of foods and spices and how to use it to create a simple yet delicious meal. Our mission is to work with whole foods and minimally processed natural ingredients. There will be a number of healthy snack options, raw desserts, salads, and even bread making. All of this in combination with how to arrange a pretty plate and have fun while learning. We believe that good habits can be developed at any age – why not start them young! We’ll combine the art of colors in our plates and follow recipes as well as use our imagination to shine through. Some of the hits of Summer camp will be making “Super-power smoothie” and “Very Berry nice-cream”! Taught by Milena Kali-Magana (health coach and founder of Fever for Health) in collaboration with Seventh Green Circle.

Taught by award-winning teaching artists, kids learn the basics of acting, dance, songwriting, and vocal training. They’ll also learn collaborative story development, scenic and prop construction, all while gaining new, specialized skills.

At the end of each week, campers perform their original musical and story in front of a live audience (family and friends) in Menomonee Club’s Fasseas Studio.

Little Hoopers Youth Basketball | Boys and Girls Ages: 3–5

3Point Athletics’ dedicated instructors will conduct weekly 45-minute clinics as an introduction to basketball and physical fitness for you and your children. Shirley Ryan Ability Lab | Ages: 7–17, youth with physical disabilities

The Caring for Kids program provides year-round adaptive sports and recreation programs including two 4-week summer camps for youth ages 7–17 with physical disabilities.
